“A century ago, in April 1926, the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse slid down the Great Dune and tumbled into the sea. First lit in 1769, it was the sixth oldest lighthouse in the U.S., and for 150 years guided Philadelphia-bound ships into Delaware Bay. I reimagined the lighthouse and its commanding view over Cape Henlopen using historical photographs and postcards, as well as the miniature model in the traffic circle in downtown Rehoboth Beach.” — Erick Sahler
