“Rail Trail” (2022)

“The town of Lewes is home to a vast network of bike trails that connect it south to Rehoboth Beach through Cape Henlopen State Park and west to Georgetown, along an abandoned rail line. The ‘Rail Trail’ terminates at the iconic Lewes water tower, a silvery orb that looks like a UFO straight out of a 1950s sci-fi flick. The homes along the end of the trail are gussied up for visitors, with arty decorations and tidy gardens, and Kyle Confehr’s mural on the back of the town’s public works building, which can only be seen from the trail, is a treat not to be missed.” — Erick Sahler
